CITGO is committed to giving back to students and educators across our regions. In the last year alone, through our CITGO STEM Talent Pipeline program, we have awarded more than $1.3 million toward efforts that promote the importance of STEM education and provide educators with the resources they need to help their students succeed in the classroom. Since the program's inception, we have reached more than 17,800 students and educators.
Through the CITGO STEM Talent Pipeline program, CITGO awards scholarships and works closely with community partners, private and public educational institutions to implement projects and activities in support of STEM development at the local level. The goal of the CITGO STEM Talent Pipeline program is to increase the number of students graduating high school and entering STEM related technical and professional careers.
Join us for our first annual observance of National STEM Day where we, along with our community partners and leaders, will recognize and award the CITGO STEM Talent Pipeline Grantee winners and STEM Teacher of the Year Award. Attendees, both students and adults, will enjoy hands on STEM activities and live demonstrations as well as interactive food and beverage stations.
